The Air Transportation (Air Traffic Control) Major trains air traffic control professionals required by providing education on the newest theories and applications in the fields of airport operation and air traffic control, centered on the infrastructure of an airport.

• To produce graduates with an understanding of the overall structure and characteristics of the air transport industry.

• To produce graduates with knowledge of airport operation and management.

• To produce graduates with specialized knowledge in the operation of air transport systems (air traffic control, airport logistics).

• To produce graduates with an industry appropriate knowledge of English and an understanding of the application of information technology.

• To foster communication and interactive skills by gaining knowledge and experience with air traffic related institutions, organizations, and companies through field training.

• To broaden the graduate’s scope for understanding and appreciation of the liberal arts and humanities, environmental sciences, and global issues.
