University of changing the world with specialized training

School of Liberal Studies

Introduction

The School of Liberal Studies was established to nurture creative and autonomous talents capable of leading modern society. Students in this school have the freedom to design their own academic paths by selecting from a wide range of majors offered by the university, including aviation, engineering, humanities, social sciences, design, marine studies, and sports, with the exception of five health-related majors (**). Interdisciplinary and combined majors are also available without restrictions.

After declaring a major, students remain part of the School of Liberal Studies, retaining exclusive privileges to manage student council activities, departmental events, clubs, and extracurricular programs. These opportunities empower students to design their futures with flexibility and creativity.

* Majors such as Aviation Operations and Helicopter Piloting require submission of medical certificates from government-designated hospitals. Majors in arts require departmental approval based on practical skills.

** Five excluded majors: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiology, Nursing, and Dental Hygiene
