The School of Aerospace Engineering aims to cultivate professionals with a strong foundation in engineering knowledge and practical skills, focusing on the design of aerospace systems. The program provides education on core elements of the aerospace industry, including aircraft systems, propulsion systems (engines and motors), avionics, and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), emphasizing system-level integration and practical understanding of engineering phenomena.
With the establishment of the National Space and Aeronautics Agency in 2024, the department is positioned to meet the growing domestic demand for aerospace professionals while fostering creative talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It boasts excellent educational resources and competitive programs to prepare core experts in the aerospace field.
The Department of Aerospace Engineering comprises six engineering-related disciplines within the aerospace sector: Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Aviation Industrial Engineering, Materials and Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Civil, and Architectural Engineering
