Introduction

The Department of AI Mobility, established in 2025, is a specialized interdisciplinary program aligned with the university's vision of becoming an AI/SW-centered institution. The department focuses on advancing the future smart mobility industry, emphasizing the three key trends of electrification, automation, and connectivity, with Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) at its core.

Research and development in the field actively integrate AI and software-based technologies, including object recognition, pathfinding, and collision avoidance, to enhance automation in autonomous vehicles and vessels. The department aims to cultivate interdisciplinary talents capable of contributing to new industries such as autonomous railways, cars, unmanned ships, and aircraft.

Through foundational theories, practical training, and industry-linked project-based education, the program prepares creative and skilled professionals to lead the smart mobility industry with AI-driven automation and software-centered mobility innovations.
