Introduction

The Department of Contemporary Music provides education based on a theoretical and practical curriculum to develop skills and nurture talents for the diverse expression of popular music. It focuses on the development of excellence in performance, including vocal, guitar, percussion, synthesizer, and piano and on composition skills. It aims to develop the ability of its graduates to advance into various fields of popular music performance and composition. It provides performance experience by forming staff, graduates and current students into bands and facilitating opportunities for public performance.
