Introduction

The Department of Health and Welfare Consulting is the only department in Korea that has a multidisciplinary approach to combining welfare of the aged, adolescent counselling, and general health promotion, to improve quality of life. It aims to address various social problems and needs in modern society arising out of the aging population, unique challenges faced by adolescents and various other public health issues including the epidemic in chronic disease arising out of poor lifestyle.
