Introduction

The Department of Aviation Security trains security experts required by airports, airlines, aviation related industries, and important national facilities to actively respond to changes in security industry demands and trends. Through industry-linked practical training courses, it aims to develop professionals who can take responsibility for security management and the safety of the travelling public, aviation and airport staff and infrastructure.

The Educational Goal

• To graduate security experts with integrated security management capabilities such as risk analysis, security plan development, security operation, security sweep and search, situation management and emergency response.

• To develop professionals with capabilities in planning, designing, and operating security systems, supported by Information Technology.
